By 2025, one million electric cars will cross Swedish roads. At least, automotive manufacturer Volo made this to one of his top priorities.

Volvo CEO Håkan Samuelsson has an ambitious goal. He wants to be at the top of the electrification of the automotive industry in ten years at the latest.
This strategy is part of a sustainability program recently presented by Volvo, as sustainability will be the focus of all business activities. The program was named after the Swedish word “omtanke”, which means “consideration” or “care”.
In addition, Volvo is committed to introducing a climate-neutral operation by 2025 and raising the proportion of women in management positions to 35 per cent by 2020. The Swedish automobile manufacturer is working continuously on its goal that until 2020 nobody will be harmed in a new model.
