Worldwide networking & mobility: Henkel is using Skype for Business!

Worldwide networking & workplace mobility: Henkel is now using Skype for Business and Office 365. Through the unified platform, voice calls, video conferencing and content sharing are organized by Henkel to advance the workplace digitization.

In the future, the approximately 50,000 employees of Henkel will reorganize their global communications. This step is designed to improve workplace digitization. The employees will run their voice calls and video conferences via Skype in order to share their content quickly and efficiently worldwide.

The goal is to improve the networking and mobility of global employees. With Skype for Business and Office 365, they will not be bound to a particular workplace or device. Henkel hopes for a reduction in travel expenses and more efficiency.

Henkel as a driver for the digital future

“We initially set up Skype for Business as a nice additional feature of Office 365”, said Markus Petrak, Corporate Director, Digital Workplace Integrated Business Solutions at Henkel.

“It took just a month to develop it into a business-critical component. Our goal is to make Henkel the driver for the digital world of the future, and with features like Cloud PBX in Skype for Business, we are fulfilling this goal.”
