SMARTAGENT: The allrounder for digital transformation

SMARTAGENT not only simplifies communication processes, but also optimizes resource management, security factors and the efficiency of a company.

The gadget can be useful in a wide range of industries: At a glance, a retailer sees whether a specific shirt is still in stock in other colors or can get reinforcement when many customers enter the store at once. If a machine breaks down in production, a repair can be initiated without any detours.

In the Hotel industry the directly retrievable information saves valuable time – so the receptionist knows exactly who of the team members can quickly and efficiently serve a customer request. At the same time, the hotel staff can, for example, directly request a refill of a mini bar in a certain room. Likewise, it facilitates communication with just one push of a button in the health care sector.

High quality for high demands

For performance, a Qualcomm® (APQ 8009) quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with up to 1.3 GHz clocking and a 1 GB RAM are provided by SMARTAGENT. Data processing and communication are fast and reliable. The IoT Smartwatch also houses an 8 GB flash memory.

The 1.54-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 is a combination of practicality and comfort. The resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and shows content clearly. With 47 x 44 x 12 mm and 60 g, the Smartwatch keeps the look of a regular timepiece. Particularly when working in gastronomy, health care or logistics, everyday convenience is an important plus.

The wearable is resistant to temperatures from -20 ° to + 60 ° C. The aluminum case is also resistant to humidity, dust and a short submergence up to a maximum of 1 meter water depth thanks to the IP67 protection class.

The robust silicone bracelet is available in different colors. Alternatively, a Silicone neck hoop can also be used.

Communication runs wirelessly via dual-band WiFi or Bluetooth including NFC. The built-in lithium-polymer battery has a capacity of 430 mAh and keeps the user updated about the current charging status via LEDs.

Always up to date with the SMARTAGENT

The TREKSTOR smartwatch can be operated via touch display which can also be operated with gloves, or via voice commands through the integrated microphone. At the same time, voice messages can be sent with the smart bracelet. A loudspeaker and a strong vibration alarm ensure that the user does not miss any notice.
In seconds, information is exchanged and retrieved. For documentation, the user can also access a 5 megapixel camera. Videos or photos with autofocus help, for example, to show colleagues the error message of a machine. A gyroscope and a 3-axis acceleration sensor are also on board.

Windows 10 IoT Core

The basis for the professional use of the bracelet is Windows 10 IoT Core with its compatibility with Universal Windows Applications. The operating system provides a detailed definition of write and read access rights and comprehensive information management.

The watch is optimally tuned to Microsoft Azure, the flexible cloud computing platform. The necessary information is thus not only available within a company’s own business premises, but also in real-time for coworkers the other side of the world.
From Q3 2017 onwards, the TREKSTOR SMARTAGENT will be available for an EIA of 200 euros for the B2B area. At the HITEC in Toronto, TREKSTOR already exhibited its novelty.
