The connected-health.eu GmbH was founded by Dr. med. Johannes Jacubeit. As a doctor, he wondered daily about the outdated IT world with which he and his colleagues had to get around and missed contemporary digital communication possibilities in the health care sector.
At the end of 2014, he left the curative medicine to form connected-health.eu and take on the matter. Since then, the team, now grown to 15 employees, has won numerous prizes and achieved an enormous media attention with the product.
The connected-health.eu products LifeTime App and LifeTime Hub enable the easy digital exchange of health data between doctor and patient – even without the Internet. At the end of 2015, the High-Tech Founderfonds, the Innovationsstarterfonds Hamburg and a consortium of private investors took part in a seed round at the Hamburg company.
