Apr\u00e8s quelques semaines seulement de tests et de montage, l\u2019entreprise \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique chinoise Dongfang Electric a mis en service la plus grande et la plus puissante \u00e9olienne offshore du monde. La nacelle et les pales de rotor de 153 m\u00e8tres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 achemin\u00e9es sur site, au large de la province du Fujian, au nord-est de Ta\u00efwan, d\u00e9but ao\u00fbt 2025. Con\u00e7ue initialement comme prototype, cette nouvelle \u00e9olienne d\u00e9tient d\u00e9j\u00e0 le record mondial avec une puissance de 26 m\u00e9gawatts, d\u00e9passant ainsi l\u2019ancien d\u00e9tenteur du record, l\u2019\u00ab AG 21-276 DD \u00bb de Siemens Gamesa au Danemark, qui affichait 21,5 m\u00e9gawatts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heise.de\/news\/26-Megawatt-China-nimmt-weltweit-leistungsstaerkste-Windkraftanlage-in-Betrieb-10630015.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">selon Heise en ligne<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"margin-top:64px;margin-bottom:20px;padding-top:16px;\">Des records en taille et en r\u00e9duction de CO2<\/h2>\n<p>La nacelle de l\u2019\u00e9olienne se dresse \u00e0 185 m\u00e8tres de hauteur. Le diam\u00e8tre des trois rotors qui y sont fix\u00e9s d\u00e9passe 310 m\u00e8tres. L\u2019\u00e9olienne est con\u00e7ue pour des vitesses de vent offshore allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 8 m\u00e8tres par seconde et devrait r\u00e9sister \u00e0 des rafales atteignant 200 kilom\u00e8tres par heure.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dongfang Electric pr\u00e9voit une vitesse moyenne du vent de 10 m\u00e8tres par seconde et une production annuelle d\u2019environ 100 gigawattheures par an. Cela suffirait \u00e0 alimenter 55 000 foyers en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Initialement, l\u2019entreprise tablait sur une alimentation pour 40 000 foyers. Une centrale \u00e0 charbon de puissance \u00e9quivalente br\u00fblerait quant \u00e0 elle 30 000 tonnes de charbon par an. L\u2019\u00e9olienne offshore permettrait ainsi d\u2019\u00e9conomiser 80 000 tonnes de CO2 par an. Le prototype devra d\u00e9sormais subir divers tests, notamment pour d\u00e9tecter d\u2019\u00e9ventuelles fatigues mat\u00e9rielles sous diff\u00e9rentes vitesses de vent. Comme l\u2019indique Heise, la Chine mise de plus en plus sur la taille et les installations offshore pour d\u00e9velopper son parc \u00e9olien.
