It&#8217;s a battery for electric cars. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;30&#8243;][vc_column_text]Its technology is called &#8220;Spatial Atom Layer Deposition&#8221; (SALD). The company SALD BV, founded for this purpose, is based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and has already received numerous enquiries from investors.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15&#8243;][vc_column_text]The super battery offers several advantages. On the one hand, the process is patented. This means that extremely thin coatings can be applied during mass production.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15&#8243;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]The advantage here is within reach. This is three times as high as with previous batteries, but differs only slightly in size.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, these batteries can be charged to 80 percent within 10 minutes and fully charged within 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to Frank Verhage, CEO of SALD BV, the first cars with this battery technology will be established on the market in 2022.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;25&#8243;][vc_row_inner row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section_slide=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; padding_bottom=&#8221;30&#8243; css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>SALD-batteries as a further development of lithium technology<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column_text]The SALD-batteries have a nano-coating. This creates the so-called &#8220;Artificial Solid-Electrolyte Interphase&#8221; (A-SEI), which is the reason for the high performance. In addition, this technology increases charging speeds, durability and safety.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, this technology is compatible with all existing solid state batteries available on the market.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1605537015219{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;background-color: #ffffff !important;}&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;30&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;76704&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15&#8243;][vc_column_text]Frank Verhage already expects a lot from the first version: &#8220;E-cars [drive] either with smaller batteries far more than 1000 kilometres or with larger battery packs even more than 2000 kilometres in the future without recharging&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These forecasts refer to everyday driving styles.
