The young company is based in Vienna, Austria and is a specialist for online & performance marketing as well as SEM, Social Media & SEA.
All 14 of their creators have either founded their own companies or have start-up, corporate, consulting or agency experience. Additionally, they are supported by the services and expertise of their subsidiary start-ups.

Benjamin is the strategic & creative head of SURPLUS. Before co-founding SURPLUS he spent 15 years in a variety of global managing positions at Douglas, MediaSaturn and finally at adidas. Alongside developing new fields of business, Benjamin Birker realised multi-sales-strategies, omnichannel as well as direct-to-consumer concepts. In his previous position he was a member of adidas’ core team for digital transformation as a part of the companies strategy “creating the new”. Through his connections with universities, the “UnternehmerTUM” and various start-ups he is constantly confronted with new business models and technological progress.
